Helping the Homeless

I am sad for other people that are homeless. It's because they have to live out in the rain and they have to stay really wet and they have almost nothing. But, there's mostly people in there that doesn't have homes in New York City. It's really sad for them. Click on play below (or click here) to hear me share.

Helping the Homeless Here are some ways we help homeless people and people who don't have a lot of things:

1. Have a canned food drive.

2. Send gifts to kids through Operation Christmas Child so they get things for Christmas.

3. Help 1Mission by building a house or raising money.

Have you ever been to 1Mission?

How do you help the homeless?

  1. G'day Em,
Another great post from you. I noticed you mentioned Samaritan's Purse. My mother and I usually send off some boxes with the clothes, pencils, soap and so on every year ready for Christmas.

I have never heard of 1Mission so I will have to do some research on them.

  4. Hi Miss W,

That's so neat that you live all the way in Australia and send boxes of gifts for Christmas too!

How old do I have to be to help with a house? How did you start thinking of this?
